Back when we were staying with my mom for a week, David was watching the travel channel. On one of the shows he was watching, he saw a place in Jacksonville called Olio’s that served a Duck Confit Grilled Cheese. He was certain that this sandwich was calling me. So yesterday, we mae our way to Jacksonville to check out the sandwich. He was right!
I’ll admit I was a little worried when I ordered the sandwich. Just wasn’t sure about a grilled cheese sandwich combined with Duck Confit. But it was everything I could have hoped for. It had Duck Confit, White American and Gruyere Cheese and Green Tomatoes. It was so, so good. I hope to have it again in the near future. (And my hubby’s Cuban Sandwich was tasty too.)
