I’ll be glad when January is over. I am part of the Ultimate Blog Challenge this month. The requirement for the challenge is that I post every day this month. It’s supposed to lead to more blog interest. But this challenge is actually much harder than it seems. The reason it can be so hard is that sometimes, I really have nothing to say. There, it’s been said. Sometimes, I don’t have anything to say.
Yes, I could probably spread out my digital scrapbooking layouts. However, only some of my readers are interested in my layouts. I don’t want to chase off all my other readers. I try to come up with a variety of content ideas for my blog. But sometimes, I just don’t have new ideas. That’s fine most days of the month. But this month, I need posts. I’m already short one post this month. So here I am writing about not writing. :O)
Okay, I think you have been bored enough today. I will be back tomorrow with a regular post. Until then, don’t forget to document your memories.
The blog of blogs! Great post, because you didn’t have anything to say. Instead, you had more meaning than you thought. This is writing and the challenges that writers (bloggers) face. Only four more posts to go! UBC participant, Jewel.
Jewel, I am so glad you enjoyed the post. And I appreciate your comments!
Cindy,
That’s fantastic. I am in the same boat right now. I popped over to the UBC page to look for ideas because I, too, was writing that I had nothing to say.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one feeling writer’s block.
Dr. Wixy, I wish you the best of luck in finding inspiration for the rest of the month. Just a few more days to go.
Great post saying nothing 😉
Actually I could identify so much because I started my business blog with all the good intentions in February 2013 and by end of March I stopped posting, well I think it was 1st Week of April. This year I started different I actually planned the title of the posts and I will write 365 Online Business Tips, I just hope I keep to this personal challenge.
Liliana, I wish you the best of luck in meeting the goal you set for yourself. Cause I know it feels good when we meet the goal we set for ourselves.
I enjoyed reading your post! Yes- this UBC- Ultimate Blog Challenge, is definitely a CHALLENGE- Hard to figure out exactly what to write and what topic to use! But, it also is fun to try and do something totally different. Maybe out of the norm, share a recipe! 🙂
Karen, I agree. Most days I enjoy the challenge of having to create content. But everyone once in awhile… lol I’m afraid any recipe I posted would involve the microwave. 🙂
Hi Cindy. I’m taking part in the UBC too this month and am finding it hard work. I think I was a bit ambitious because I decided to do a mini series on relationships — the A-Z guide. I found it quite restricting and often sat here wondering what on earth I was going to write. Maybe it’s because I’ve not been writing for long so haven’t had that much experience, but I really thought it would make it easier having a subject, not harder! On the last challenge, when I got stuck for ideas, I would pick an angel card for the day and write about that. Only 3 more days to go and we can put our feet up! I enjoyed reading your post today. Blessings, Andrea
Andrea, I find sometimes that our grandest plans turn out to be our stumbling blocks. That has definitely happened to me before.
