If you read my weekly round up this week, then you know that last weekend I went with David to Frostproof, Florida, for some photo action. As part of the trip, I wanted to photograph some textures because that was the theme for the Clickin’ Moms Project 52 group this week. Most of the texture photos I took were amongst the photos taken while my camera was on the wrong settings. However, I did have a couple of photos taken during that time that turned out great and one of those photos turned out to be my choice for photo of the week.
This photo is of the back of an old train caboose. Specifically, the metal grate that served as a platform. I was really happy with the way this photo turned out and I was happy to make it my photo of the week.
I really had a great time taking pictures last weekend. If you head on over to my weekly roundup post, you can see quite a few of the pictures I took. I’ve also posted a few in my photography gallery (you’ll find a link in the drop-down menu at the top pf the page).
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ahead of them. I’ll be back sometime this weekend to share my latest digital scrapbooking layouts.
