I’ve been making plans for 2014 and as a result, I have some new visitors to my blog. Welcome! I am glad to have y’all!
In setting up for 2014, I was asked to put the URL to my website under my blog’s subject matter. What a question! I don’t really blog about one specific topic. So I wanted to let y’all know what y’all can expect from my blog.
Y’all are going to see lots of digiscrapping layouts. I love digital scrapbooking! I’ve been a digital scrapbooker since 1996 after being a paper scrapper for almost 10 years. I made the move with a little trepidation, but I was in love almost from the time I got started. (I don’t know why I thought I wouldn’t like it, because I love technology.)
I also love photography. So expect to see plenty of photos from me. I will be participating in Project 52 again in 24, so expect to see at least one photography post from me each week. My current camera is a Canon XS dSLR. I love that camera! (Of course, you’ll see plenty of camera photos from me as well.)
You will see plenty of technology posts from me. I love technology! I especially love mobile technology. Talking about tablets and smartphones is probably my favorite technology topic. I have a 3rd Generation iPad, a 2012 & 2013 Nexus 7 and a Samsung Galaxy S3, so I talk about both iOS and Android.
I talk a bit about me. I think a blog is more interesting if you know a little bit about the author. In the past I’ve shared my favorite music, place I’d love to visit again and at least once, my own fashion dilemma with scarves.
I also talk about my faith. That’s usually reserved for Sundays. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It’s a big part of my life and so it gets a place on my blog.
I’ve also covered miscellaneous other topics from time to time. I’ve covered the importance of dog adoption and why I wish would have happened after the last election. (Cooperation. I didn’t get it. lol) So I really do cover a wide variety of topics here on Scribbles & Musings.
I still don’t know what category you can file my blog under. If you have a good idea, please share it in the comments. Maybe I’ll use it next time I get asked that question. But I hope you understand a little more about what I am doing here on Scribbles & Musings.
The weekend is almost here. I suspect it will be hectic for most people since it is the last weekend before Christmas. I know I will be busier than usual as my sister will be arriving tomorrow. Whatever, you are doing I hope you have a great weekend ahead of you!
I had such a hard time labeling myself for the Blogger Challenge as well, what did you end up going with?
Steph, I finally went with Lifestyle cause that seemed to become the catchall for blogs without a specific topic.
