Merry Christmas

I know everyone is busy today, but I just have a small post I want to share with you. I hope you don’t mind.

Today we celebrate the birth of a baby born more than 2,000 years ago. He was born in a manger, because there was no room in the inn.  His birth was heralded by angels declaring that a savior, Jesus Christ, had been born.  “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior, which is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)  That birth changed the world.  His birth is the reason Christmas exists and I cannot let this day pass without acknowledging the reason we are celebrating Christmas.

Before you go, I want to share with you a version of Silent Night by Kelly Clarkson, Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire that has quickly become one of my favorites.  You may have seen me share this already, but I thought it was worth sharing again.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!  No matter how you choose to spend December 25th, I hope each and everyone of you has a wonderful day ahead of you.
