Yes, I know it has been forever since I posted. Events just seemed to suck away my mojo for blogging.  But I really want to get back to it.   And I’m going to get back to it today using one of my topics, digital scrapbooking.

As many of y’all already know, back in January I began a guest stint as a Cheery-O at OScraps.  I have some good news about that.  The guest stint is over.  No, that’s not the good news.  The reason the guest stint is over is that I am now a permanent member of the Cheery-Os!!  I could not be happier about it.  I’ve been hanging out at OScraps for years and being asked to be part of the team permanently is really a dream come true.

Now that I am a permanent Cheery-O, I will be helping out with the monthly challenges from time to time, starting this month.  Right now, I am hosting the Color Challenge at OScraps.

For this months challenge, you need to create a layout using at least two of the colors from the color palette I have chosen.  (To see the palette, click on the link above.)  You have until the end of the month to create the layout and submit it.  Here’s the layout I created for the challenge.

Love My Yard Digiscrapping Layout

Created using Summer Poppies Mini from Courtney’s Designs, Framed FotoBlendz No. 1 from Anna Aspnes and Gesso Bits V2 from Crafty Button Designs

The way challenges work at OScraps is that if you complete three challenges in a month, you receive a 10% off coupon to the OScraps Store.  Complete six and you receive a 25% off coupon.  You can read all the rules here.  I hope you’ll come join me in the challenges this month at OScraps.

I also want to let you know that as part of my return to blogging, I have updated both my 2014 Digiscrapping Layouts gallery and my 2014 Digital Art Journaling gallery. I have added a number of layouts to both galleries, so I would love to have you take a look.

Thanks for stopping by on my return to blogging.  Hope you are having a great Monday.  Until next time, don’t forget to document your memories.
