Ultimate Blog ChallengeI just finished the January Ultimate Blog Challenge.  This was my second time participating.  Sadly, I was not as successful this time.  In October, I completed a post every day of the month.  This time, I only completed 29 posts.  About a week ago, I decided I was more than ready for the month to be over and not be committed to post every day for a month.  Then something changed.

BlogHer February 2014 NaBloPoMoA couple of days ago, as the result of a blog post from another Ultimate Blog Challenge participant, I became intrigued by NaBloPoMo hosted by BlogHer.  NaBloPoMo is a monthly blog posting challenge.  Like UBC, the goal is to post every day during the month of February.  But there are a couple of differences.  First, the month has a theme.  For February, it is “Perspective”.  Also, there is a blog post prompt for Monday through Friday with free writing days on the weekend.  You are not required to follow the daily prompt.  But they actually look interesting.  I don’t know that I’ll go with the Prompt every day, but I am planning to do several of the prompts during the month.  Might actually make the month easier.  We shall see.

Since today is a free post day, I wanted to introduce you to my latest blogging challenge and share with you a quote from Ivy Priest Baker.

Perspective Quote from Ivy Baker Priest

For awhile, I have been seeking a new perspective on my life.  It has not been easy.  I’ve been using the quotes I’ve shared and digital art journaling pages to remind myself to start seeking a more positive perspective. That is why this quote spoke to me this morning.[Tweet “The world is round and the place that may seem like the end may also be only the beginning. -Ivy Baker Priest”]

This is what I need to figure out now.  How I am at the beginning of a new path.  I don’t have any answers yet, but I am still looking for answers.

Thank you for stopping by on this beautiful Saturday.  (Well in South Florida anyway.)  I hope you have a great weekend ahead of you.  Whatever you are doing, don’t forget to document your memories.
