One of my goals for 2014 was to succeed with Project Life. I tried in 2013, but it just did not work out. Trying to create two, two-page spreads every week just did not work for me. But when I got to the end of 2013, I felt like I didn’t really get my memories of 2013 scrapped. Sure I created plenty of pages, but I didn’t really meet one of my main goals for scrapbooking, documenting memories. So I decided for 2014, I would give Project Life another try. However, this time I am doing one two-page spread for every two weeks. I think that will work out much better for me.
I haven’t quite yet decided what I want my Project Life album to look like for 2014, but I think I may go with a more artsy style. I wonder if I’ll enjoy it more that way since that is the way I am going with the rest of my scrapping. So I decided to give it a try this week. Here is the final creation.
I am very undecided about this style for Project Life. In some ways I like it, because it works really well with the number of photos I take. But I fear it leaves me less room for documenting additional info. I just don’t know. Maybe I’ll try scrapping the same photos this week in a more traditional style and see what I like best. I want to decide before I get too far along.
Do you have a Project Life blog, digital or paper? If so, link me up in the comments so I can follow along.
I hope everyone has a great week ahead. Whatever you do, don’t forget to document your memories.
