I suspect you are wondering how I already have more layouts to share. Well, not all of the product I used in the layouts I created last week had been released on Thursday so I couldn’t share al of my work in my Thursday post. But even if I could have shared them all, I think y’all might have grown tired of my post before you got through all seven layouts. So, I have three more layouts to share today.
You know what is awesome? When you get to combine more than one of your loves. And I got to do jus that with this first layout. It combines my love of Doctor Who with digital scrapbooking. What could be better than that?
This layout was created with Keep Calm and Carry On from Crafty Button Designs along with a freebie that she gave away on her Facebook fan page a few weeks ago. To create the layout I blended the three photos of The Doctors together to create the single photo strip. I also blended the Police Call Box paper from the freebie into the layout background to give emphasis to the layouts subject matter.
This second layout shares my love for my Canon XS. I have had this camera for five years and I love it now as much as I did when I purchased the camera in 2008.
This layout was created with For the Love of Winter from Crafty Button Designs. I love using kits for pictures that aren’t really related to the theme for the kit. I think it’s a lot of fun. I changed the photo to black & white so that the focus was on the camera not all the clutter in the background. The alpha I used for the title was Messy Foam Alpha #1 also from Crafty Button Designs.
This final layout also uses For the Love of Winter from Crafty Button Designs, but the subject matter is completely different (and still not about Winter). This layout is an expression of love for my best friend in the world, my wonderful husband. David is my best friend and nothing inspires me more scrapping layouts about him.
I used a more sepia toned photo so that it wouldn’t clash with the bright colors of the layout. The word art I used for my journaling came from Use Your Words: Amore and Use Your Words: Amore – I Love You from Our Misadventures. I loved using the word art cause the packs were filled with phrases to express my love for my hubby.
Before I go, I want to remind you that I am still hosting the recipe challenge at OScraps. Tomorrow is the last day to submit a layout and be entered in to the drawing to win one of two February collabs before the collab is released. I’d love to see you take part.
That’s it for today. Thanks for taking the time to come check out my layouts. Have you scrapped anything lately? If you have, leave me some links in the comments and I can come share some love.
(Note: As a member of the Crafty Button Designs and Tracy Martin Designs creative teams and a guest member of the OScraps creative team, I receive free product in return for creating layouts.)
