After several weeks of very little scrapping mojo, it seems like mine may be back. I have now created my second and third layouts this week. I have to admit it feels good to be creating again.

This first layout was created as part of my work on the Crafty Button Designs creative team. This page reflects my feelings about time. While some days seems to pass slowly, it seems that with every passing year the the weeks and months just pass faster and faster.

This next layout was created for the January 5th Think Outside the Box Challenge at Sweet Shoppe Designs.  It’s basically a short version of the goals I discussed in my Welcome to 2014 post.  While it’s not an art journaling layout like the other two posts I’ve done this year, I still had to add a little bit of paint.  My favorite part of this layout was working with one of Krystal Hartley’s Mixed Media Mashups.  I have several sets, but this is the first time I’ve actually worked with one and I loved it.

Yes, none of these layouts helps me meet my goal to create more event layouts. But at least I am enjoying scrapping again. Now maybe I’ll actually want to work on those event layouts.
