I haven’t been taking a lot of pictures lately. That has left me without a lot of photos to scrap. Luckily for me, that gives me plenty of time to create art journaling pages. Today, I have two more art journaling pages to share.
This first page was created for The Painted Nest #19 challenge at Scrapbook Graphics. I have always loved these challenges, but lately haven’t had enough time to participate. But they changed the time frame so the challenges are monthly and I now should be able to participate more often. Here is the layout I created for the challenge.
For this layout, I went looking for a quote to go with a mini kit I needed to work with, Poe Mini Kit, from Crafty Button Designs. Given the name of the kit, of course I wanted an Edgar Allen Poe quote. After I found just the right one, I picked some stuff out from other Crafty Button Designs product and here is the final creation.
I hope that next week, I’ll have more creations to share with you. I need to get busy on that 30 Lists project for one thing. Plus I am eager to get more pages created. What projects are you hoping to work on next week.
The weekend is here. I hope everyone has a great one ahead of them. What you do, don’t forget to document your memories.
(Note: I am on the Crafty Button Designs Creative Team and receive free product in return for creating pages. However, I only join a designer’s creative team, if I like the products they create and think they are worth using.)
Lovely graphics! I especially love using the newspaper to create something so creative.
Thank you, Tammy. I really enjoyed making that page.
These are lovely.
I know what you mean about getting busy to work on projects. I’m visiting from UBC so my project for this week is to complete that challenge. Since I have a cooking blog, it means actually cooking everything, photographing and writing the post. It’s a lot of fun, but I definitely have to make time.
All the best with your many projects.
Barbara, that would definitely be a lot of work. Hopefully it is at least yummy work.
hi cindy, your work is great. thanks for introducing me to another great challenge. what software did you use? i would want to work on this challenge for this week.
Amar, I use Photoshop CS5. But you can use Photoshop Elements or GIMP and do the same thing. I’d love to see what you create.
