Worry. What I Do Best

Worry. Now that’s something I am really good at. I am good at worrying about real concerns. I am also very good at worrying about things that could happen. I am one of those people who breathes a sigh of relief every time I go around the curve and see my house still standing after being away even for a few hours. If you are looking for someone to do worry, I am the person for the job.

I know that worrying about things that may never happen doesn’t help anything. Heck, worrying too much about current concerns isn’t necessarily the best choice. But it’s the path I almost always take. I am certain it contributes to my extreme shyness. Yet, I continue to do it.

This year, I have been working on being more positive with the digital art journaling pieces I create and the quotes I share on my blog. I hope that as I do it, I will be better at incorporating that attitude in to my daily life. As part of that work, I have a new quote to share with you today. This one is from Leo Buscaglia.

Worry by Leo Buscaglia

I know I can’t be the only person out their who is mastering the art of worrying. What things do you do when your stress levels get too high or you begin to worry too much that help you? I’d love to know, as maybe they would benefit me as well.[Tweet “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy. ~Leo Buscaglia”]

I hope everyone is having a great Monday. Whatever you are doing today, don’t forget to document your memories.
