We are now in the last week of November. And when this week ends, I’ll have another reason to be grateful. The end of hurricane season. I think anyone who has ever experienced a hurricane is more than glad to see the season pass by quietly.
I really like the Thornton Wilder quote above, because it is so important to remember all of things with which we have been blessed. Sometimes it can be hard. The day to day of life can really cause us to struggle to see our blessings. However, we all have blessings that we need to recognize. I think once we recognize a few of them, it becomes easier to recognize additional blessings. (I know this is an area where I struggle sometimes. That’s why this month has been so important to me.)
Without further ado, here are the blessings I posted on Facebook for days 16 – 22.
- Day 16: I am thankful I have always had plenty of food on my plate.
- Day 17: I am grateful for music in church. I think it brings in the spirit in a way words do not.
- Day 18: I am grateful for all of my friends, both those I have made online and those I’ve made offline. You are all very important to me.
- Day 19: I am grateful live in a place that is filled with beautiful flowers even in November.
- Day 20: I am grateful for all my furry and feathered babies.
- Day 21: I am grateful that I can read. Reading has always been one of my favorite pastimes.
- Day 22: I am grateful for hope.
I hope everyone is looking forward to the new week. Even if it has to start with a Monday. Please leave me a comment and let me know one thing you are looking forward to this coming week.
Until next time, don’t forget to document your memories!
