It has been several months since I posted a new color palette. And truth be told, I kind of missed working on them. I have a lot of fun taking a look at the different color schemes that can be derived from a photo I have taken. For today’s color scheme, I chose a photo that I took back at the beginning of the year when I went to Frostproof to experiment with a new lens I had purchased for my Canon XS. This was one of my favorite photos from that day. I think this color palette would work well any time you are looking for that more tranquil, peaceful feeling. Also great for creating layouts for all those Spring time pictures.
I also have a little gift today for my digiscrapping friends. I have two 12″x12″ edges in the colors of the tranquility color scheme. Both are in PNG format, ready to use on your next page. Simple click the “Download Me” link below the graphic.
I hope you can make good use of today’s color palette. If you use either the new palette or the edges, leave me a link in the comments below. I’d love to see what you’ve done with either.
These are so beautiful. After looking at this post, those colors…I am so inspired. They really are right up my alley and sparked my creative brain to wake up this morning. Thank you!
Bonnie, I am glad the colors inspired you! It’s good to know that it was time well spent.
Those colors are definitely tranquil! Thanks for the frames, too!
Your welcome! I hope you can make good use of the frames.
Love the colour scheme, it’s so nice that nature usually give us the right answer! All we need to do is look!
Nature is always a great place to be. I’m glad you like the color scheme.
Gorgeous colours! Thanks for sharing!
Your welcome! I’m glad you liked it.
Lovely frames and gorgeous colours, they remind me of where I live – the rainforest meets the sea. I will use the frames for my beachside photos. Thanks so much for sharing. I am here from the UBC.
Annie, you are welcome! I’m glad you can make use of the frames!
Lovely colors. How well do they work in the RGB palette for online colors? Did you happen to check?
Bonnie, I actually focused on making sure it was in gamut for the CMYK color space because that is the preference for a lot of digiscrappers.
