Guess What! Once again it is layout sharing time. I have another four layouts to share with you. (I’ve created even more, but I can’t share the rest just yet.) Since I have lots of layouts to share, let’s get started.
This first layout was the only layout not created for a scrapping challenge at OScraps. This layout was created as part of my work for the Tracy Martin Designs creative team. The kit I worked with this week was Winter Whites. Because we don’t have a lot of traditional Winter weather in South Florida, I decided to use the kit for a page containing a Winter poem about Ogden Nash. Here is the final page. (I also used the Bling It Alpha newsletter freebie.)
The next three layouts were all created for January Challenges at OScraps. This first layout was created for the journaling challenge. The challenge was to journal about our resolutions for the new year. Since I had already done that for a different challenge, I decided to journal about my desire to return to school in hopes of finding employment that I really enjoy. I created the layout using Half of Me Collection from Re Kneipp and Fifteen Minutes from Zoliofrope.
Layout three was created for the January Prompt Challenge at OScraps. The prompt this month was the word “blank” and you were supposed to create a layout however the prompt inspired you. This was a hard prompt for me, but I finally was inspired by to create a page around this quote from John C. Parkin using the OScraps collab, Evolution.
“Every moment has infinite potential. Every new moment contains for you possibilities that you can’t possibly imagine. Every day is a blank page that you could fill with the most beautiful drawings.”
This final layout was created for the OStash Challenge. For the challenge, you had to use 14 frames and fasteners in combination on the layout. You could use six frames and eight fasteners or one frame and 13 fasteners, the combination was up to you. I went with a combination of four frames and 10 fasteners. To get enough frames and fasteners, I had to use a number of different products, including Otono, an OScraps Collab, Life Lessons from Taylormade Designs, Vintage Bits Washi Tape from Crafty Button Designs and Staple It from Merkeley Designs.
That is it for today. But expect me to be back before weekend is over with a few more layouts. I have been a very busy scrapper. Until then, don’t forget to document your memories!
(Note: As a member of the creative teams for Tracy Martin Designs, Crafty Button Designs and Merkeley Designs and a guest member of the OScraps creative team I receive product in return for creating layouts.)
The are really creative. You have a good eye for color and detail.
You should do very well with web design.
All the best,
Michelle
