Today, I’ve decided to share with you some websites that I definitely recommend you visit. Some of these are fun. Some of these are useful. But these are all websites I recommend.
The first website I want to recommend is Single Dad Laughing. This is a blog by Dan Pearce. You may have already heard of it, but if not I highly recommend giving his blog a read. Sometimes his posts are funny. Sometimes they are insightful. They can also be thought provoking. They are always worth a read.
The next website I want to recommend is About.me. This is a great site you can use to create a personal profile that you can then share to let others know where to find everything you do on the web. You can list your blog, your social media websites, etc. You can add your photo and create your background to give it the personal touch. You can find me About.me page at http://about.me/scribler.
Another website I want to recommend is probably one you know about, but might have not visited in years and that’s Flickr. This is a great place for storing and sharing photos. Or digital scrapbooking layouts. Flickr has great communities where you can find like minded individuals with whom you can share your photos or layouts. In the past, the available storage on Flickr if you did not pay the annual fee was very limited. That has changed recently and you can now get a terabyte (1000 GBs) of storage for your photos. This is a great way to have an online backup of your most precious photos. You can find my personal Flickr here.
If you are a regular reader of Scribbles & Musings, you know I love technology. That means I can’t end my post without mentioning a good site for keeping up on technology website. The site I recommend for technology news is The Verge. I’ve been visiting The Verge since it was called “This is My Next” and it really is the best way to keep up with what is going on in technology.
My final site recommendation is a bit of a personal indulgence. This final site is another blog called But I Love Cookies. This is a personal indulgence, because it the blog writer is my husband, David. He mostly covers technology topics, but occasionally covers travel in Florida and entertainment. David is an intelligent blogger and I definitely think you’ll learn something if you give it a try.
That’s it for today. If you have any website recommendations, please leave them in the comments so I can check them out. (Please make sure these are G or PG blogs, because that is my preference. Thanks.)
looks like blogging has become a family part 🙂 thanks for sharing.
Amar, I was bound to rub off on him eventually. :O)
